Happy Tails

We love it when our well-deserving dogs find their forever families.  That's what it's all about, bringing Man's Best Friend together with a family that will love it unconditionally every day for the rest of it's life.  That's what all dogs deserve.

Ronan, Sarita & Scout

Ronan, Sarita and Scout's mama is battling cancer and can no longer care for them.  She had them in boarding and was looking for someone to take care of them.

We didn't want to split them up because they were already sad, scared and missing their mama in boarding.

Kathy Mason lives in Mississippi and saw them online and wanted to keep them together.  She adopted all three!!!

We are so happy and thrilled that the "Triplets" as we called them were able to stay together!

Thank you, thank you, thank you, Kathy for saving their lives and keeping them together.  We know their former mama can now rest easy knowing her babies are in the best of hands!

HHPP Alumni

Dakota was owner-surrendered at the local county shelter which immediately placed him on the euthanasia list.

Jenni and Konrad Janke agreed to foster him. This poor boy was scared of everything, especially men, and was totally shut down.

With their loving approach, they turned this fearful boy into one who now trusts people and accepts men approaching without flinching.

He loved his human toddler, Clara, and assigned himself as Chief Babysitter.

Mackenzie Blair and husband Bryan  drove over 2 hours from Victoria, Texas to meet him!!  They love the breed and couldn't wait to meet him!  Dakota was such a good boy at the meet and greet that they fell in love!

Dakota is now living in South Texas and has three littles for playmates and big yard to run around in!!

Happy life Dakota!!!  Kenzie and Bryan thank for adopting an HHPP dog!

We get all teary eyed when our fur babies return to say "Hello" and "Thank You" for giving them such wonderful new lives.  And it's all thanks to our fantastic volunteers, fosters and wonderful donors and supporters.

Donny is living his best life with Spencer Gordon and family!

He has two two-legged sisters and one four-legged sister that he plays with every day.

Thank you Spencer for giving Donny his best life!

Cooper, n/k/a Clooney was abandoned as a pup at an apartment complex.

Judy Dernick loved him right away and wanted to add him to her family!

Judy says, "He’s a perfect young man and is getting over his shyness. He loves to wrestle with Cooper, the 65 lb Vizsla that lives next door. Our sweet Clooney weighs 44 lbs now!"

Thanks Judy for giving Clooney the life he deserves!!
